WILLOW
AT THE
MOUTH OF THE SACRED SPRING.

The spring, that gifts its waters to the making of these essences of the Isle ,is surrounded and guarded by great crack willow trees. Their height is immense, for the water from which they drink and grow is deep, ice cold and totally pure. It originates from waters near the Alps and travels far underground to reach the island shores. This spring is energetic and always flowing. At the very mouth stands a five trunk willow so high, the neck muscles are strained. to view its tip.

Her entire trunk moves with a flexibility (bends but never breaks) which feels like she is mobile, almost human and with us so closely. Flexibility is the signature of willow, as is the huge compassion she shows. Her life is governed by the flow of waters, as it is for Humans. Willow will move mountains and stretch so far to reach us and heal us. And she honours the Moon, which governs so much of our emotional body.

The healing attributes of Willow:
Willow essence brings protection for our spirit. She is a guardian, and nurturer in the feminine aspect. Willow will assist in dispelling negative thought patterns: A great illusion breaker. Willow essence will also release emotional blockages and bring relief from emotional pain.

It can assist in alleviating the pain of headaches and fevers, arthritis cuts burns and ulcers. The essence can be applied topically.
