This special Wihtyar essence was laid with Rose Quartz at a beautiful cascading Holly tree in the grounds of Quarr Abbey, near Binstead, on Good Friday, 2005 with the Equinox full moon in Libra.

Venus at this time was sextile to Mars.

It was very poignant to be in that energy of Quarr Abbey at a time when the men were focussing on Christ energy, and the pain of the masculine wound. The Rose Quartz was laid as a crystal of compassion and love: a heart crystal to balance the masculine of the Holly. This essence then, is for healing the masculine and feminine wound. The full moon in Libra accentuated that balancing.

Holly essence is renowned for promoting the courage to face change. It is direct and forceful, a clear shaft of white light that pieces through uncertainty.

It is known to have masculine attributes, yet the rare Holly in Quarr Abbey was more like a willow, very feminine in the way its very old branches cascaded to the Earth. It really felt that the Goddess energy was interwoven in this Christ energy of the Abbey. And so this essence has been created to heal imbalances between the masculine and feminine within each of us and help us to be excellent to each other.

Holly can help to clear disturbances from the mind giving clarity of thought.
It can be a great balancer on all energy levels.
It can be good for reconciling past issues, again forcing change through sometimes-painful acceptance of what is needed to relinquish from our lives.

Psychical attributes: Holly can activate sluggish systems; endocrine and immune can be helped with this essence.
All illnesses derived from low immune systems can be lessened with the energy of Holly: Influenza, Bronchitis, Arthritis, inflammations and also toothache.
I have used Holly to good effect with deafness,: i.e. "glue ear" and the build up of mucus in the ear passage.

Rose Quartz is known as the "stone of gentle love".
It calms the emotions and balances yin/yang energies and is excellent for healing emotional wounds.
It is very helpful in easing heartache.

Psychical attributes: Rose Quartz can assist in the releasing of impurities and helps in diminishing kidney disorders. Place on the thymus, it can help bronchial congestion.
